Della’s Puppies
Della had her puppies on 20th March 2023, right on the day that they were due. She had 4 puppies instead of 5. She had 3 boys and 1 girl.
All of Della’s puppies have now been allocated.

They will be ready to go to their new homes when they are 8 weeks old, around 15th May, 2023.
Puppies will be $4000.
Della’s newborn puppies only minutes old.
The first puppy was a big white and fawn boy. he has a fawn spot on his right side. We have temporarily called him Oliver.
Puppy number 2 was a black and white boy. we have temporarily called him Ollie. he has been allocated so is not available. ollie has been allocated to Elizabeth.
Puppy number 3 was another white and fawn boy. he has a fawn patch on his left side. we have temporarily called him Oscar.
Puppy number 4 was a black and white girl. we have temporarily called her Olivia. She has been reserved so is unavailable.
Puppies are one week old.
Della is a fabulous mother. all puppies are feeding well and have made good weight gains.
Oliver (fawn coloured spot on his right side). he has been just been allocated so is not available. oliver has been allocated to stephanie.
Ollie (Black and White Boy). HE HAS BEEN ALLOCATED SO IS NOT AVAILABLE. OLlie HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO ELIZABETH.

Olivia (Black And White Girl). She has been reserved so is unavailable.
The puppies are 2 weeks old and their eyes are starting to open.
Oliver’s eyes are starting to open. OLIVER HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO STEPHANIE.
Ollie’s eyes are starting to open. OLlie HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO ELIZABETH.
Oscar’s eyes haven’t open yet but it won’t be long before they are. Oscar HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO lesley.
Olivia’s eyes are open. She has been reserved so is unavailable.
The puppies are three weeks old. They had their first worming last week and they have had their nails cut. They are getting the hang of being on their feet and walking around the whelping box.
OLIVER HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO STEPHANIE. He is starting to wobble about but is still unsteady on his feet.
Ollie is the biggest of all the puppies from both litters. He really enjoys his food and is the first to the milkbar. he is a little fattie. OLlie HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO ELIZABETH.
Oscar HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO lesley. He is trying to get up on his feet but is still very wobbly.
Olivia has got the hang of walking and chases her mother around the whelping box. She has been reserved so is unavailable.
The puppies are 4 weeks old. They have been wormed again. They are up on their feet moving around. They are thinking about eating solids. They are booked in to the vet for 3rd May when they are 6 weeks old for their immunisation and microchipping.
I will be asking families who have been alllocated a puppy for a deposit on 3rd May after the puppies have been immunised, microchipped and health checked by our vet.
Oliver likes his food but manages to get it all over himself. He particularly likes lying down in the middle of the food dish on top of the puppy Mousse. You can see traced of food on him. oliver has been allocated to stephanie.
Ollie continues to be the fattie of the two litters but he is not too keen on trying solid foods at this stage. He thinks he is better off with milk from mum. OLlie HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO ELIZABETH.
Oscar likes his solid food too but he is a complete grub. You can food all over his front paws. Oscar HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO lesley.
Olivia prefers mum’s milk to solid food too. I expect her to show more interest in real food in the next week. Olivia has been reserved so is unavailable.
The puppies are 5 weeks old. We have been putting the two litters together for play dates several times a day to help them to learn to play and socialise with other puppies.
For something a bit different we videoed the puppies this week instead of taking individual photos. For those of you who have been allocatted a puppy, can you pick which one is yours.
The babies are now 6 weeks old.
The puppies had a very busy week.
On Tuesday they had their first big bath and groom. They were washed, blow dried and brushed. They had the hair between their foot pads shaved. They had their toe nails clipped. They were wormed for the third time.
On Wednesday they had their first car ride to the vet, a 45 minute trip each way. No one cried or was car sick. They had their vet health checks. They were immunised and microchipped and were most unimpressed with the entire process.
Back home, they are eating and drinking well, play fighting with each other, and enjoy playing with toys.
Their toilet training is progressing well with most puppies using the real grass “Potty Plant” most of the time, but accidents do happen at times. They are really good babies.
